Thermogravimetric Analysis

Thermogravimetric Analysis is a thermal measurement method used to measure weight loss and decomposition temperature of a material.
Typical Temperature Range of 50°C to 500°C at 10°C/min – Possible Temperature Range: 25°C to 1000°C

Measurement Instrument Used

TA Instruments TGA 55

  • Temperature Range: 35°C to 1000°C
  • Weighing Precision: ± 0.1%
  • Controlled Heating Rate: 0.1 to 100°C/min

Sample Requirements

Sample needs to be placed on a pan and cannot exceed 1 gram in weight. Powders or sheets that can be trimmed, accordingly, are required.
